Lately, I've been working on embedded systems. What's an embedded system, you ask? Well, if your toaster connects to the Internet, or your cruise missile connects with the target, you've got yourself an embedded system. I build the complicated ones on top of Windows XP Embedded, Windows Embedded Standard 7 or 8, or Linux (typically Fedora if there's room; Gentoo if there's not). The simple or ultra-compact stuff I do with microcontrollers such as the Parallax Propeller, various PIC microcontrollers, or 8051 hybrids such as the Cypress EZ-USB.


The plan, once again, is to write some professional articles, and put them up here.
